If your an owner of the HTC One X, then today is your lucky day!
HTC have announced that they have released the 4.0.4 update that has a number of OS improvements. A press release was published today stating that the ONE X had been added to the list of device’s that will receive the 4.0.4 update.
“As part of our ongoing commitment to ensure customers are receiving software updates that improve their user experience, we are pleased to announce our next upgrade for the HTC One X will be released on August 10.”
What’s in it?
In a longer, more detailed statement, HTC detailed the features that will come with the update.
“The primary update will include an upgrade to Android version 4.0.4 (Ice Cream Sandwich), in addition to an improved Sense experience which will: enable the ability to map menu function to the ‘recent app’ key (improving visual presentation in non ICS apps like Facebook); improve tab management in the browser with a dedicated tab switching button and enhance camera capabilities such as white balance and continuous auto focus,”
Well yes actually. There will be enhancements to platform stability, memory and the browsing experience. In addition there will be single sign in for Facebook which will enable consumers to sign in just once and then allow other apps to make use of the authorization, should you want them to.
Beats audio who HTC partnered with some time ago, and who also bought some shares back will also have some upgrades within the update which will “reflect our [HTC] dedication to providing an authentic sound experience.
