Android 4.0 ICS not coming to Desire HD

HTC have stated that the Desire HD will not be getting the 4.0 upgrade to Ice Cream Sandwich.

The Desire HD comes running Gingerbread (Android 2.3) and HTC say that fitting ICS on to the phone would mean repartitioning its internal space and risk overwriting personal content. HTC probably aren’t in love with the idea of losing all your photos and content and so have decided to not offer the update.

The only irksome thing for Desire HD owners is that the HTC Thunderbolt will be getting the update, and they are two quite closely related phones both spec and hardware-wise.
